Welcome to our Website!
Welcome to the Bi-Stone Baptist Association that exists in Limestone and Freestone counties. We are a group of Southern Baptist Churches that work in voluntary cooperation to help reach our region with the message of God's love and forgiveness found by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We have four Ministry Teams that seek to assist our Member Churches. They include:
The Evangelism/Missions Team
The Equipping Team
The Encouraging Team
The Administrative Team
Member Church Directory
As construction of this Website is completed, each team will have a page dedicated to their work. We will also have pages dedicated to resources found in both State Conventions.

ATTENTION: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Bistone Baptist Association has scheduled its next Executive Board Meeting for June 9th at 6:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Wortham. This meeting will be an abbreviated meeting due to the COVID-19 Crisis and we are asking that each church only send the minimum representation as explained in our Constitution to this meeting. We will not have a meal and each church may send it's Pastor, Staff, and Two Lay Members of their congregation to this meeting. This is designed to reduce the possibility of the virus being an issue.
But, your participation as a member church is very important in this meeting as your Lead Team, serving as your Seach Committee, will be presenting a candidate for our Associational Mission Strategist position in view of a call.
To help all member churches to have the opportunity to meet with our candidate, we have scheduled a "Meet and Greet" meeting Saturday June 6th at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church, Mexia. This meeting will be in their Fellowship Hall and will be set up in a socially distant seating pattern. There, any member of our member churches may attend and meet with our candidate for a time of informal discussion.
A formal letter of announcement is being sent to each church and to each Pastor's email that we have to help to get this information out to all our churches. This letter will include a fact sheet regarding the qualifications of our candidate and will also be put online at this website after the letter has officially gone out.
Your Lead Team has continued to meet during this crisis by using the Zoom Meeting application and has worked hard to bring this candidate to you at this critical time in the life of our Association. Please be in prayer, and make every effort for your church to be represented at both of these meetings in the first part of June.
