Note dated 2/21/22 from Dr. Warren
Good morning team. I am excited about the things that God is doing within our ministry teams.
Congratulations to J T Norcross for accepting the position with FBC Teague. We pray for God to pour out His blessings on this Congregation. I had the opportunity to worship with Lost Prairie Baptist Church yesterday and they are moving forward seeking the man God has assigned to lead them forward. Please continue to pray for these sweet folks as they seek to find and follow God in His decision.
I had the opportunity to attend a morning session with FBC Coolidge in their Winter Bible Study and really enjoyed it. Their attendance was great as well. Thank you Pastor Chuck for leading forward in equipping the saints for the work of the ministry.
We had the opportunity to meet with Bro Pete and his church family and the leadership of FBC Fairfield to understand how we can come alongside the Hispanic work with Jose and Lauria to strengthen them and we will have another meeting on March 6 at 4 to follow up with our strategy plans. God is definitely up to something with our Hispanic community. Jose had a chance to lead one to faith in Christ Jesus as well. Praise His name. We are looking at how we are going to be able to reach into our communities to touch the lost. FBC Groesbeck and FBC Kosse are interested in learning how we can better reach our community with the Gospel message that will appeal to the culture of our Hispanic friends.
We are moving right along with our Disaster Relief. We had nine that attended the training for the shower unit. There is still room for more. My desire is to have at least a couple from each of our congregations that would become trained and ready to be deployed for a week at a time when the disaster arises and we are called upon to deploy. If you have anyone that has expressed interest please have them go online "SBT DR" and at the bottom click on training to take their basic training. For the ones that went through the training with our shower unit director for the state, we can train them on the field if need be. Another affirmation that God is at work in this ministry is the fact that we have received some wonderful donations that have allowed us to move forward with getting our unit road ready. Thank Bro. Don Thornton for his labor in getting our lights and fans working. We have propane on the unit and I will be putting it in the shop tomorrow to have the wheel bearing and seals replaced plus getting it inspected. Nic has contacted a body shop to get a price on getting the unit painted and then he also has a sign company that has made an offer we can not refuse to get the signage and wrap done. These things are happening because God's hand is on this ministry. He likes that we as an association of churches are ready to be obedient and deploy when He calls on us. We are also thankful for FBC, Mexia for making available to us a place to store our supplies that are going to be easily accessible for any deployment we are called upon to do. We will have the unit parked on their property and will be staging from there when we are on call to deploy. Any of our churches that would like for me to bring the Bi-Stone Baptist Association of Churches Shower Unit to their campus just let me know and I will be glad to come to display it and explain the purpose and ways we are making a difference in the lives of those who are hurting and in desperate need.
Again, I want to thank FBC Donie and pastor Robert for hosting our executive board meeting this month. We really enjoyed your hospitality and the worship time was top-notch. God bless you. Our next Executive board meeting is May 9th and Central Baptist Church has offered to host us. Thank you Bro. Tracy in advance. We love to worship with you as well.
Visited with Bro Shane and it is exciting to hear the plans for this year's mission week If your church has not been involved, consider this an official invitation to join in on how God uses our area ministry servants to make a difference locally.
Be sure to mark your calendar so nothing will interfere with our Mission Banquet at FBC Mexia on August 2nd 6 pm. We have our guest speaker committed to sharing what and how God is working through our mission ministries.
As you can tell, God is at work in and around us. It is exciting to see our churches respond. I praise our LORD for His hand on us.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you as your Associational Mission Strategist. We are better serving together.
Your servant
lowell

Dr. Lowell Warren, Associational Mission Strategist for Bi-Stone Baptist Association.
MINISTRY OBJECTIVES:
It is my desire to serve God in the assignments He sets before me. Since 1997, my focus has been to minister to both Pastoral Staff and Congregations. God has placed in me a passion for our Pastors/Staff, as well as His Congregations. Over the past twenty-plus years, God has allowed me to come alongside both to assist them in achieving their calling. The goal God has set before me is to encourage these servants to become Spiritually healthy, so they can lead the congregations to also become Spiritually healthy. When we are able to do this, our Associations will become healthy. Then we can work successfully together to achieve our goals and objectives.
