2022 Spring DR Trainings Update

Registration for the trainings located at Spring Texas on 3/5/22 and at Linden Texas on 4/2/22 are now open.  Secure your spot by clicking the appropriate link below.

Registration at the door is $25. Registration covers the cost of training, manuals, hat, t-shirt, lunch, and badge.

The following information was provided by the Disaster Relief Team at the Southern Baptists of Texas office.

Hi all,

It’s that time again. Our next two Phase 2 Trainings are coming up. If there are any that need Phase 2 Training, please send them the registration links and they can take the one that fits their schedule. Please also forward this to your Unit Directors so they can send the information on to any candidates.

3/4/22 Spring, TX Phase 2 Registration

4/1/22 Linden, TX Phase 2 Registration

Quick Reminder on Prerequisites:

1. Phase 1 Ministry Area Training in the same Ministry Area for Phase 2.
   1. For Clean Up & Recovery, must have completed Chainsaw School.
2. Deployed in same Ministry Area as their Phase 1 training and desired Phase 2 training.
3. Before or after the training, CPR and Basic First Aid are required

1. can be received from American Red Cross, or American Heart Association, or other nationally recognized provider of this specialized training
2. After completion, please submit documentation to SBTC DR Grapevine office.
